Monitoring

  • Resources on a node’s page and the Monitor tab on a server’s page: CPU, memory, disk and network over 1 hour, 6 hours, 24 hours or 7 days, plus players for games with a query.
  • Hover for values; Table shows the numbers.
  • The panel stores one average per minute while a server runs (nodes: always), for 7 days. Nothing extra runs on the node.

Network: a server’s in/out rate comes from its container’s byte counters. A node’s network is the sum of its game servers’ traffic: an agent in a container can’t see the host’s interfaces.

For a load balancer or uptime monitor:

  • GET /health/live: the panel’s process runs.
  • GET /health/ready: the panel can serve requests (database reachable).

Node health is shown in the panel: online or offline, with the last time it was seen.

  • Push notifications when a server goes down unexpectedly, an install fails or Steam Guard needs a code.
  • Webhooks for state changes, e.g. to Discord.
